Are All-Star Irrigation CEUs courses approved by TCEQ?

Yes, all of our courses are approved by the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality. Our TCEQ Provider number is 0862, and All-Star Irrigation is an approved provider of Irrigation Training for Core and Continuing Education Courses.

How do I obtain my landscape irrigator's license?

To obtain your landscape irrigator's license, you must take a 40-hour training class by an approved provider and pass a test from the State of Texas.

(All Star does not currently offer the 40 hour course.)

How do I obtain my irrigation technician license?

To obtain your Texas Irrigation Technician license, you must take a 16-hour training class by an approved provider and pass a test from the State of Texas. 

How many CEU hours do I need to renew my license?

That depends on what type of license you currently have. For licensed irrigators and inspectors, 24 hours of CEU credits are required each renewal period. Irrigation technicians on the other hand require 16 hours each renewal period.

Where do I check the status of my irrigation license?

To check the current status of your irrigation license, visit the TCEQ website and search by an individual. You can search by first and last name OR license number.
